Elizabeth Csaszar, Ph.D
Development Manager, Bridge at CCRM
Elizabeth (Liz) is currently a Development Manager with the Bridge process development team at CCRM. In this role, Liz leads technical teams working on process development for the cell and gene therapy industry. Her current technical focus is immunotherapy, process integration and closure, and scale-up/scale-out. Liz obtained her B.Sc (Eng) in Engineering Chemistry from Queen’s University and her PhD in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto. During her PhD, Liz worked on developing clinically relevant strategies for hematopoietic stem cell self-renewal and expansion, under the guidance of Dr. Peter Zandstra. Liz then worked as a Development Scientist at CCRM where she led projects in the areas of blood cell differentiation and production, stem cell expansion, immunotherapy, cell manufacturing and scale-up, and clinical translation. Liz holds a P.Eng designation from the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
