Philip Gorman
Senior Researcher for the High Throughput Antibody Discovery team
Philip attended the University of Connecticut where he received a Bachelors Degree in Physiology/Neurobiology, and he went on to graduate school at Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Biology. Philip has worked at Yale School of Medicine, Perkin Elmer, Thermo Electron, Pfizer and is currently a Scientist in Antibody Generation, Biotherapeutics Discovery at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. The majority of Philip’s expertise is in immunoassay development and validation, and he also has extensive experience in lab automation and integration. Currently, he oversees Boehringer’s High Throughput Antibody Discovery team, whose principal duties are primary screening, cloning and transient expression of therapeutic antibody candidates.
