Lead Process Development Scientist at The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult
Ricardo Baptista holds the role of Lead Scientist in Process Development in the Industrialisation group at The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, London, UK. He is currently working on the development of scalable bioprocesses for the affordable manufacture of allogeneic therapies derived from human pluripotent stem cells. Previously to Cell Therapy Catapult, Ricardo held the role of Project Manager and Scientist in Product and Process Development Team at CCRM-Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine, in Toronto, Canada. Ricardo is a Biological Engineer and obtained his PhD degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering.
