Dr. Zane Starkewolfe brings over 15 years of experience in strategy, finance, and corporate development in the life science and biopharmaceutical industries. Previously, Dr. Starkewolfe was the Associate Director of Venture Catalyst at the University of California, Davis, where he launched biopharma startup companies, raised investment capital, and structured numerous corporate partnering and licensing deals. Prior to this, he worked as an investment banker at EVOLUTION Life Science Partners, where he led M&A transactions, negotiated licensing agreements, and secured public and private equity financings. Zane also worked in venture capital for Burrill & Company after cofounding Mesolytics, Inc., an infectious disease molecular diagnostics company.  Zane received his Ph.D. in Chemistry with a Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology and Clinical Translational Research from the University of California, Davis where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholar.
