Electronic journals - I don't miss standing over the copier in the library for hours!! There is even a company DeepDyve that allows you to rent articles without having to buy them if you don't have a subscription to that journal.

Electronic pipettes, has really improved my carpal tunnel and reduced the repetitive injuries in our lab.
