Brian Douglass is an executive with more than 20 years’ experience in the life sciences industry. For the previous 4 years, he was the GM of the Cell Culture business at Cytiva. In that role he had responsibility for leading the global business operations of the HyClone Cell Culture franchise. Among the major initiatives during his 8-year tenure at Cytiva, he launched a new cell culture manufacturing facility in Pasching, Austria that would serve the needs of the local European market and built a technical organization that created new platforms for cell line development and the design of custom cell culture media for industrial customers. Prior to joining Cytiva, Mr. Douglass led the Corning Life Sciences Cell Culture business. He has also held leadership roles at the American Type Culture Collection and Mallinckrodt Baker.
